What’s interesting is that I noticed an increased ability to juggle with different programming environments and languages, switching easily from Objective C (yes, I finally become a friend of Xcode) and Lua (using a somehow exotic SDK for cross-platform game development). Being busy, so to speak.

From the physical environment to the relationship level, everything was rough. For 6 months, I woke up at 5 AM each morning (except during the 6 nights of Romanian Revolution , when I didn’t sleep at all), I practiced fight techniques and learned tremendously. Romanian army wasn’t what you may call a summer camp. On the contrary.

I firmly believe in charging for quality content; for me, ebooks and followup series work great. In today’s time-hungry market, offering ways to accomplish things faster (ie, ebooks of less than 60 pages compared to ebooks of 200+ ebooks – faster reading) is also of value as well. Real is the future.

Although it’s been more than 7 months since I’ve published it, I still get a few re-tweets per week and a decent number of monthly thank you emails. I soon realized that I need capturing devices for only two environments: mobile and computer. After I finish, I send the generated mind map as an email attachment. That’s all.

Set aside the services we offer, strip away the great ebooks, the recommended resources, everything but the content. When their readers don’t actually know what they do, because they never visit the site, they simply open Google Reader or their email for the RSS feed. I think we are already seeing ebooks move to free.
