People who spend excessive amounts of time alone tend to suffer from anxiety, stress, and even memory loss. Just like plants need wind to grow, writers need some reassurance that they are not just going at it alone each time they sit at the keyboard. A change of scenery can do the trick, and a little variety helps you avoid stagnation.
