The Tasks in Google Calendar is measly and doesn’t have the ability to set priorities, recurring tasks, and, most importantly, synch with my phone. Astrid allows me to do all of this on the device and sync up with RememberTheMilk.com service. I used to use Google Documents for this purpose. Enter Astrid. Problem solved.

I personally use a Franklin Covey planner because I love the look of the pages, but many other companies make planner pages with the same set-up.  Thinking Through A Pen As a writer, I enjoy being able to open up my planner to jot things down. Keeps all your appointments, contacts and email in one spot so it's all synched up.

Brilliantly Better

After a few frustrating episodes (in which I even tried some mild self-hypnosis in order to recall “that brilliant idea” I had this morning in the car) I gave up trying to remember those bits and pieces and set up a capturing environment. That’s the time when I quickly fire up the iPhone Voice Recorder and start talking.
