Prepare by writing out your presentation, at the every least have an outline and rehearse it more than once. At the very least, practice your stories and be sure to have stories every time you present. Evaluating your audience is a critical but frequently overlooked aspect of presentation preparation.

Whether it’s 20 pounds you need to lose, a presentation that has to be made or a skill you need to learn, overcoming “I don’t feel like doing it” is being motivated. A good parent doesn’t stay in bed thinking, the kid can suffer, because I don’t feel like getting out of bed. That drive is motivation.
