It’s to highlight the importance of the applications available on Android Market that I’ve recently downloaded and like very much: Astrid : I made the move to Google Apps a number of months back in order to become system agnostic. In other words, I wanted to be able to access my email, calendar, tasks, and notes from anywhere.

I can also store email templates and phone "scripts" (bullet point items of what to cover on certain types of calls). Use email, instant messaging and your mobile phone to submit your notes or you can clip content from the web with the browser toolbar. With Tomboy you can highlight text, check spelling and auto link web and email addresses. I can say that I have found the Netvibes integration into Twitter and Facebook streams to be seamless.

Brilliantly Better

Although it’s been more than 7 months since I’ve published it, I still get a few re-tweets per week and a decent number of monthly thank you emails. Two of the most used applications on my iPhone (apart from all the social media apps for Twitter and Facebook ) are iBlueSky and Voice Recorder. For a single blog post, that’s a lot.
