I know that is easier said than done because low self esteem may be the roadblock. I found this link to the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale which has some questions we can ask ourselves to see where we are on the self esteem scale. So I started to say Yes and it was a real confidence booster.

I think a lot of my self-esteem and self-confidence is due to exercising. Of course, you should always consult with your doctor before starting any exercise routine. With the exception of a few breaks when I was only running, I have been weightlifting consistently since I was 15 years old.
