Some people, myself included, find themselves being far more productive when they can visualise their tasks, collaborators and current position within a project. There are keyboard shortcuts for creating new tasks and branches, for grouping sets of tasks together (a very handy feature that all Project Managers will be pleased to see).

The goal for me for productivity is to not get more stuff done so that I can then cram more stuff in the space I’ve created by being productive. I don’t use folders in email*. I’m a keyboarder most of the time. as I assume you guys already know about those and why they’re smart to do), but are things I do daily that help me.

In other words, I wanted to be able to access my email, calendar, tasks, and notes from anywhere. In fact, I stopped using Google Documents altogether since all remaining documents I transferred to Google Wave, a collaboration and document management tool. Google Apps did everything except Tasks. That’s it for now.
