Since I commute to work, on my way to Frankfurt I read lots of books on the train or I like to surf the internet for things that put me in a positive mood. Since my boss travels a lot, I take care of his travel expenses and supplier invoices. I can recommend learning a foreign language. What does an average day look like?

Another factor is that they simply don’t have the budget for it, especially if they have staff that need expensive professional qualifications and CPD programmes. Learn everything you can about your competition, their products and how they advertise. Web development as well can be pretty expensive. Make sure you have a consistent message across every advertising medium that you use. Talk to the newspapers / radio or TV stations that you plan to advertise with, they can often advise you.
