Fax Blasts I remember someone from my IAAP Chapter asked me to fax the notice of our Chapter dinner to a list of about 60 companies to promote it. I dont know about you, but when I get these "flyer" type faxes, they go immediately in the recycle bin. I want to know that I can trust the company first.

If you might need to refer back to those papers at some point in the future (for legal, tax, or other reasons), move those items to an archive file out of your office in permanent storage. But obsolete journal articles and memos that serve no real long-term purpose can be tossed or shredded. Part of the Calahan Solutions, Inc.

Your company may have a strict policy on what they want you to include in the signature line and what it should look like, but generally you would include your name, title, company name and address, telephone and fax number. It is too easy to press Send and then regret what you have written or find yourself in some legal trouble.

You can read more about UC in this Wikipedia article. I already owned a cell phone number, had an assigned IP Telephony work phone and fax number, a home number, and I used assigned phone numbers when I was at client sites. NOTE: Check with your legal department before you do this. No problem. Google Voice has you covered.
