Always start on time and do your best to end on time by following the agenda and "table" topics that require more discussion. If they are late, it is helpful to let them know what agenda item is being discussed--do not go over what has already been discussed--its a time waster. Distribute the agenda/handouts prior to the meeting.

Use social media functions with trust: retweet, like, promote. Most of the time, digital friendships last as long as the underlying hidden agenda’s of both parties last. At least Im telling you my true opinion, not a fake one from a blog owner who wants to promote his blog. Start a dialogue. What can go wrong? This is sad.

I have appointments in my agenda and tasks to be done. It is also the reason I love to travel with little planning ahead. It also makes you a very open person, because the next traveller you meet might just point you to the next great thing you can freely visit because no plans are holding you back.

Your partner just had a promotion or a personal breakthrough and you’re supporting him. A picky manager who gives you more and more complex tasks without showing recognition or proposing you for a promotion, that’s a disempowering person. An empowering person would give you more chances for promotion, or recognition.

After all, you can’t please everybody and everyone has their own agenda. Even soldiers believe they’re serving their countries, when they may only be furthering the agenda of a dictator. I also had no idea that you were a soldier. Great article Dragos. I love how you intertwine your experiences with life lessons.

It might not provide returns in one year, or in two years, but at some point down the road, you will have an increased socio-economic profile, known to be related to improved health and well-being.
