This statistic is particularly striking when compared to the 43% who expressed a reduced likelihood of retiring if given the option to work remotely.

Sure, some of them might have the same jobs, but you will soon find that sometimes a company will only work with one specific agency. Job hunting is a numbers and timing game.

If the fit isn’t close enough, they toss or file your resume. The shortest route is to look for temp work thru agencies or TaskRabbit, Craiglist, or volunteer. What job title or job description do you want to have right before you retire and then figure out a game plan and work backwards on how you want to get there.
