Wow, an organization that was actually focused on administrative professionals! I was so excited about this opportunity that I put a proposal together to bring the WCA program to Intermountain Healthcare. At the end of the book, I was fortunate to find information on Office Dynamics.

It’s a given though, that as the years have gone by that they have obtained more experience, and been exposed to greater responsibilities, as they’ve developed internally. So treat it like a sales proposal on yourself. But I know that this is a generational thing that can be hard for the older generations to grasp.

If you become timid when it comes to speaking in a group meeting, provided you know what the agenda items are prior to the meeting, put them in writing in proposal form and give them to the Chair before the meeting or slide them to him during the meeting. This shows that I am interested in improving and that I am watching her work ethic.
