Synergy Vision, a London-based medical and health care communications company, introduced a four-day week in late 2018. The solution: Share those productivity gains with workers, in the form of a shorter workweek.

The surprises began with dinner at the swankiest restaurant from their hometown in Brussels and progressed to skydiving, matching tattoos and a “bachelor’s” weekend in Ireland. In 2020, the couple opened the Sunny & Ranney Home Furnishings & Decor store in Roswell, Georgia, which helps to fund Sunshine on a Ranney Day.
