Theses apps allow attendees to see speakers’ presentations streamed on your phone or tablet. They don’t try and replicate your phone’s Twitter feed but rather whisk you into a multi media world. Once again there are technologies there to help us promote our event. They can now do all manor of funky things.

I worked hard at that job and was rewarded with a promotion to Account Manager in 2006, yay! Speaking with confidence on the phone and forwarding calls. Arranging catering and dealing with external suppliers. The role also had some PA tasks but was mainly admin. Looking happy and cheerful at all times (even if you are not).

So, when I tell you I understand its hard to promote yourself, I mean it. Just doing a book promotion sent me into spasms of nerves. Many people are uncomfortable with the thought of slapping backs and promoting themselves to people they may or may not know. The next step is a phone call or in-person meeting, he says.
