If you can prove yourself as a good worker you can go up through the ranks and because they already know how you work, they are more apt to promote you. If a more experienced assistant comes alongside you and provides mentoring - dont refuse it. She said it wouldnt look good on my resume if I was seen as a job hopper.

That one unassuming, non-meaty, first temp gig got me my first CEO EA job and eventually my promotion to project manager down the road.
