I have been on some interactive sites where assistants ask questions and get answers and I learn from them as I have some of the same questions. Lunch n learns are also a good way to learn from each other. Administrative newsletters or bulletin boards where you can post tips or suggestions is a good way to learn.

I recently received an e-newsletter from Jane Watson regarding Acronyms and Initialisms , which I thought was timely and wanted to share with you. Depending on how acronym happy your office is, it can be like learning a new language. Back to the drawing board.

I get internal newsletters and other information-type e-mails so I have a folder called News and dump everything like that in there until I have a chance to go back and read it or delete it. Its and Its Learned vs. Learnt Lets versus lets Listing job responsibilities May,Should, Must may/might and can/could Me or Myself?

Email: Some of the people that I’ve followed for a long time have also becoming regular contributors to my email inbox. I currently contribute a monthly article to Jonathan Wells’ newsletter SharingLifeSkills.com , and with Steven I initiate all sorts of blogging challenges, or we brainstorm projects together.
