As I was going through the manual, I saw chapters on office procedures, confidentiality, health and safety, security and more. Be kind to your new hires and available to answer their questions and help them learn the ropes. Albeit, I do the introductions first (50+ people to meet) and then start with first-thing-in-the-morning tasks.

Maquis June 28, 2010 at 1:16 am I’ll admit that I’ve definitely learned the hard way that sleep deprivation can be physically painful. Sleep is *extremely* important – I learned that the hard way indeed! Lesson learned. Not only will it help in your long-term health but also in waking up your body and mind.
