Temp, volunteer, apply for PT work and list that as your present role. So, it's best to search for temporary, short-term admin work via temping, volunteering, applying for part time work so you have something to put on your resume. Call your old contacts, do informational interviews, network twice removed.

Google Disney insider trading scheme assistant or just look at Enron. Whenever you interview for a job, there’s at least 2-3 interviews if not more. Sometimes companies don’t validate for parking especially if you are doing testing at a temp agency and are there for a few hours. Have enough credit.

Google for the UTA list and sign up for all email lists and job boards for the entertainment industry, network with people you know, send your resume and cover letter snail mail to every company you want to work at to the attn of the recruiting department, and establish an online presence so headhunters find you via LinkedIn and job sites.
