Not all people who plan meetings are “meeting planners,” nor do all meeting planners start out their careers as meeting planners. The first time I became involved in planning meetings was in my role as an office manager/prospect donor researcher in the Grants and Development Office of a state university.

My goal for this blog is to give good tips and ideas and occasionally put a smile on your face as you start your day!Lets My boss tells me I should be able to write a letter or a report on something even if I dont know the subject that well. A good way to learn letter writing and style is from someone who knows how to do it well.

Think about what your boss needs to get done and how you can help him or her accomplish that and work that into your goals.

Lunch n learns are also a good way to learn from each other.
