Buy from eco-friendly stationery suppliers. A combo fax machine, printer, photocopier and scanner uses less energy. Buy reusable filters for the coffee machine. Purchase a water cooler instead of bottled water. Refill laser cartridges. Use non-disposable cups, plates and bowls. Swap the light bulbs for energy efficient ones.

When the printer/scanner/fax breaks down I am ultimately the person who troubleshoots and fixes the machine in question. The Skill-set of the modern PA is a far cry from tea and typing: Exceptional Communication – with colleagues, clients, suppliers, peers and the public (includes Active Listening).
