Make sure that tasks directly associated with clients come first, consider the financial impact of a project and its completion date on the company, don’t let deadlines control the priority list (expense reports can wait when there are more important tasks), and consider cause and effect (do A to enable B, which accomplishes C).

I printed his e-ticket and had everything prepared for his travel. Linda (our travel agent) was obviously having a bad day. He wrote in one sentence that he had "expensive experience" instead of "extensive" and in another wrote "tits" instead of "its." Great blog - just found it via twitter! Good thing I checked.

He relied totally on spell check so you can imagine what typos were missed. He was a lawyer and in this particular letter he was writing to a prospective client. The last time I went to a restaurant, I checked online for a menu before calling to make reservations. They had many different reviews of their restaurant, but the ones that came up first were the negative ones. It’s too expensive.&# I’m betting it’s been a long time. Instead, advertisers will need a headquarters online.
