That makes sense, but can this system be applied to other information, like monthly bills, tax returns, staff, legal issues, normal company information? B eing able to retrieve the data is more important than an organized alphabetized file drawer. I remember going to a walk-in clinic (doctors office) for an ailment at the time.

This is where an assistant network can come in handy. I often reach out to my network to get answers to problems that come up at the office or just to lend a sympathetic ear. When you leave a job, you dont have to leave your network behind. Having the opportunity to hash it out with another assistant is a great resource.

Here are Some Good-Sense E-mail Etiquette Tips E-mail Salutations: Although e-mail is less formal than writing a letter it is still polite to open with a greeting. It is too easy to press Send and then regret what you have written or find yourself in some legal trouble. Be Angry but Send not!
