I believe meeting planners and administrative professionals possess similar skills/traits that enable them to be good at what they do. I knew enough about AV equipment and computers to know that I needed both an AV and computer tech on MY team. The last thing you want during a meeting is equipment malfunction.

For me, it comes down to the following factors: Travel. I have trouble running, due to an old injury so almost all exercise involves equipment or SOMETHING which I don’t have while traveling. I need to be able to do this anywhere, without equipment and preferably without hassle of any kind. Accessibility. Flexibility.

There were charges for audio visual equipment that we never ordered. I usually contact the hotel directly, although I sometimes go through a travel agent to find out intial names of hotels in the city that are close to my event, but after the booking I always take over the discussions. It could save your company some money.

I felt if we were prepared and equipped to do our jobs, it could seem like we were laughing all the way to work.but I also like to have fun at work too. I printed his e-ticket and had everything prepared for his travel. Linda (our travel agent) was obviously having a bad day. 5, 2010 at 12 p.m.
