I would also volunteer at work and socialize with my co-workers during the holiday gift wrapping parties. I started this blog while temping/job hunting and I was allowed to write or do personal side projects as long as it was not interfering with my work. I will find a job that is near my house with hardly a commute.

Now to answer your question on how you should address your termination while you job hunt. 1) Try to find someone who can be your reference from that job, but it doesn’t have to be from that company.
