Obtaining funds from work to complete training in the current environment is difficult. High standard of customer service and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and be flexible and adaptable is key. I do think they have to have a willingness to continually learn, and you definitely learn how to learn in college.

Yes, yes and yes, but I would definitely recommend college or business school as it gives you the edge. It is great training for the office environment, no matter what field you end up in.
