I work in a back office environment, where 99% of our client interaction is via the phone, e-mail or outside of the office, so I can wear jeans and a t-shirt. However, for business casual and business dress environments, Im still a purist. That goes for men and women. No jeans, no shorts, no capris.

It’s considered a more family friendly environment. Small Firm: You have more of a “second home” type of feel. Your co-workers are more friendly , since you are more closely knit with each other. Remember that you are in a professional environment and have to upkeep this attitude. Check with your Human Resources Department or manager to see if this falls into your corporate policy. If you are going to wear a costume, make sure to wear something tasteful, not too scary or revealing.
