Burnout also negatively impacts your health. A good people leader is always willing to mentor and assist their team members. But while you may dream of a senior level promotion, putting in 70 hour work weeks to achieve it will only result in burnout. Aim high, but never sacrifice your health or personal life to get there.

Mentors and coaches are so needed in todays world – so that we can have the skills an strengths and the guidance to take the next steps. Like you said, trying to put it into a manageable system. Thanks for keeping it real and for the great reads. I have stared doing such activities in ly life too.

I am considering hiring a guru or mentor from the Mentor club. Since you seem to own Mentor club, I guess it would be rather easy to hire somebody from your own business, right? I want to spare myself the trouble that others had to go to. Just so that I would be properly guided or that I would learn from his experience.

Ken Robinson in his book Element touched the topic of having heroes too, he said that having a mentor is much better than to dream of your hero.
