I decided to leave my previous employee in June 2010 but was job hunting for 6 months and when I did get the role I am in currently I had to complete a detailed application form, attend three interviews and sit two psychometric tests (for language and numerical skills). However, this just isn’t the case anymore.

Not getting promoted. Not being invited to join the right committees / projects. Review all your expertise and experiences and make sure that you are specific in the way you describe them e.g. Organise events could sound better as senior executive events management. Often it is because we are: Not getting recognised.

My question regards the difficulty I am having in reentering the admin support field despite the fact that I have ten years of office management and administrative support experience. I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of these positions, the project management, and the role of admin support. Cast a wider net and be flexible.
