I walked past several little restaurants and eateries with their menus posted outside their doors. I saw several menus that had food I loved, the prices were about the same, and from my first glance short glance inside the restaurant, they looked fairly nice. I finally chose a restaurant and it did not disappoint.

I wouldn’t recommend eating around Time Square as it tends to either be over priced or a bit rubbish. We ate at an Italian restaurant called Il Violino on Columbus Avenue which was very nice, although we did have a slight run in with the waiter who thought we had not tipped enough, despite it being 20% of the bill! Raging Bull!

Most complaints were about higher fares, higher prices, and how customers overwhelmingly feel they are getting less for their money. In a local woman’s clothing store boutique, the owner is now offering free alterations for the next few months. Customer service has to be consistent. Customer experiences have to be positive.

When I call a restaurant, I ask for a reservation first and if they say they are too packed, I respond in an almost embarrassed tone and say the following. “Oh. He really loves your restaurant and wanted to have a dinner meeting there.” Keep in mind though, unless you know the person or company very well, everything comes at price.
