Now, take a look at your business card, brochures or other social media profiles. The other day I was in a meeting and saw a card that had the back covered with 2 different QR codes and the front had a few different urls. . Others were more difficult to navigate when on my phone.

My house is littered with ideas scribbled on the back of old business cards (I have accumulated quite a few of those in my nomadic career and wanted to put them to good use). I keep my mobile phone next to me and jot down notes that I can use the next day. It is the only time that I ever seem to sit still!

Include your name, your profession, your website, your phone number and the link to your preferred social media profiles. If your business has a tag line, include that too. Use Foursquare and find out the businesses listed in your neighbourhood. I had a new client in less than a week. You might be surprised to hear yes!
