Finally, I got a job interview through the temp agency for a one-year contract. The man I interviewed with was very nice, but was concerned about my lack of legal experience. A few days ago I went to this man’s retirement party and there were a lot of nice things said about him. It was long hours and no thanks.

Being a member is not only a great place for networking, but for mentoring and learning of jobs in your area. Working for a temp agency can either land you a full-time job or help to keep you employed while you are looking. I work as a legal assistant and it has been my experience that law firms look for very qualified people.
