Finally, I got a job interview through the temp agency for a one-year contract. A few days ago I went to this man’s retirement party and there were a lot of nice things said about him. Working for a temp agency can either land you a full-time job or help to keep you employed while you are looking. A good way to network in person is through professional associations. Don’t underestimate the value of temping.

Keep in mind, the role of a staffing agency/HR is to work for the company and to protect the CEO/client, their company, and their business, and their money.
