I was wondering if you could give me the name of the temp agency you worked with. The best strategy is to sign up with every single temp agency in town. Thanks so much in advance!"

The best part is, there are a ton of temp agencies and anyone can apply. The #1 rule of temping is you're not supposed to ask for jobs or try to get employment on your own to honor the relationship and introduction your agent forged with the company you're at. The goal is to act in a MUTUALLY-BENEFICIAL manner so everyone wins.

2) Make it clear you have bigger goals. When you interview for new jobs, do your yearly job performance reviews, network, or whenever appropriate, make it clear you have bigger goals. The goal is to go from a busy role to one that is absolutely crazy insane busy and stressful to prove you can do it.
