Rich Leigh, whose Gloucester firm Radioactive PR moved to a four-day week in 2019, told me, “I can’t move for great resumes from great people” who were wanting to escape London but remain in the industry. Shorter working hours also translate into lower energy consumption, less carbon emissions and less commuting time.
