Over the summer of 2014 I spent four weeks in Glasgow. Within the hotel there are a number of conference and meeting spaces, all of which were used regularly throughout our stay in Glasgow, and a variety of restaurant and bar areas. Advertised minimum rate per night is £135 (January 2015). Our opinions are entirely our own.

Despite my passion for social media I haven’t always been adept at it and was a twitter virgin until The Assist Conference 2015. you can use a free social media management tool like Hootsuite which can tie them all together. Through my work it has enabled me to make great restaurant, hotel and venue contacts.

I have a dual role: my primary responsibility is being the PA to the managing director. I manage his schedule and monitor his emails, as well as help organise some of his travel, company events, and client dinners, occasional research, expenses and ad hoc tasks – all the general PA duties.
