Well 2012 is over and done with and we are now already two days into 2013. Over the holidays I´ve been thinking about the year ahead and have lots of exciting things planned which will keep me busy. With the assistant role now encompassing so many varied tasks we should expect to see a rise in training for assistants in 2013.

Walmart’s dismal customer service scores drive customers away

Having a person who greets customers at the door is hardly a solution for often poor quality merchandise, poorly trained staff, and dismissive sales associates who seem more interested in going on break than solving customer issues. Even Walmart’s e-commerce scored a low 78 out of 100 for performance during the 2012 holiday season.
