Most of the time, digital friendships last as long as the underlying hidden agenda’s of both parties last. I also like to travel, that’s why I’m going to Nepal on Monday…for one month…interacting with real people. Now before I travel, I make sure I don’t cross the path of another blogger friend.

If it’s a friendship, see if the person at the end is not having any hidden agendas which will break up the validation process at some point. If it’s a personal relationship you’ll see if the other person is empowering you or is trying to confine you in a vicious circle. Rewind and start over.

After all, you can’t please everybody and everyone has their own agenda. Even soldiers believe they’re serving their countries, when they may only be furthering the agenda of a dictator. I have appointments in my agenda and tasks to be done. It is also the reason I love to travel with little planning ahead. It also makes you a very open person, because the next traveller you meet might just point you to the next great thing you can freely visit because no plans are holding you back.
