What I Learned the Year We (Nearly) Skipped Christmas

My suitcase was packed, my traveling clothes all laid out. My dad has always enjoyed days spent swimming in the ocean, followed by hearty dinners at nice restaurants. That night we went to the indoor pool, ate an early dinner at the lobby restaurant and piled into the big hotel beds to watch TV. Today we flew back to Florida.

Del Frisco’s, Boston

Practically Perfect PA

This is a five star, “Double Eagle”, 1lb slice of cake type of restaurant. This is a wonderful looking restaurant full of deep sunken black leather chairs and sofas and Boston inspired artwork. The restaurant has the most welcoming of atmospheres. There are amazing Stakehouses and then there is Del Frisco’s.

Threadneedles Hotel, London

Practically Perfect PA

For room service I ordered fish and chips (a British staple) and a large glass of wine. If your boss is travelling on business to the City of London you can’t go wrong with Threadneedles. It is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of the city, the lobby is a great place for meetings as are the restaurant and bar areas.

Colour Coding Works.

Laughing all the Way to Work

I was in back-to-back Committee meetings and I decided to use two different colours of folders, a blue one for the Committee members, with an attendance sheet stapled to the inside cover for my purposes, along with their meeting packages, and a red one for the Chair with everything the Chair was going to need.
