This has been a tradition in our office for quite some time now, where people would decorate the office, dress up in funky costumes and bring baked treats for everyone. Luckily, in my office, we dress in casual clothes all of the time and we do have a corporate policy of being able to dress up in a costume for this event.

What would happen if your company gets audited or your manager asks you for an e-mail from a few years ago? This happens to office workers all of the time. The reason I use the latter method is because our company policy is that we cant download any software that IT doesnt approve. There are two ways of backing up your e-mails.

Then I would create worksheets within each sheet with headings such as: Name Time of Call Reason for Call If you work for more than one manager or you need to track calls for more than one person, you might want to create a heading that states something like "Person Receiving Call" or something along the lines of this.

I took it to my manager, since I didn't want to embarrass the person and she took care of it. Our workplace actually has a policy of not allowing them any longer. What makes that right?
