I knew we were going to go back to that city the next year so negotiated with the hotel that if I booked the next event at their venue would they waive the cancellation fee. Negotiating Time If the person persists on bothering you, one thing that you can always negotiate is time. This way, you will get more time and the requester will get their task completed in a reasonable amount of time. Ask them when it needs to get done and come to a "reasonable" compromise.

The CEO I was working for at the time was very busy and my meeting scheduling skills were put to the test. He was also an international traveler so I had to learn everything about time zones, flights and everything in between when your boss travels to a foreign country. And travel he did.

Frustration Level (0 – 1oo): 45 – UIDatePicker is still a nasty thing, not to mention that working with time in Objective C is a pain in the arse. You have to subclass Calendars, Time Zones and Time Components if you want to do some fine grained date comparisons. Complicated.
