That sounds SO FAR AWAY when we’re thinking about entertaining, holiday shopping and year-end activities. Since many companies have year-end employee reviews, at the conclusion of your review would be an appropriate time to discuss a proposal with your manager regarding taking action on your 2011 training. I know, I know!

I actually had already written a book proposal the year before but hadn’t tried to do anything with it. It was completed on February 1 (I think I missed out on most of the family holiday activities this past season). In it, he said that he was interested in working with me on my book. Will you help me?
