That’s not to say there’s no room for negotiations but in typical situations, it’s about a flat fee. As a result, you do start viewing public holidays and annual leave differently.

Make sure you set aside time for your own biz like invoicing, social media and finding clients. THERE ARE MORE PROS THEN CONS But in my opinion the pros out-way the cons – you have the freedom to work when you want, charge what you want, work with who you want and take holidays when you decide. Re-calibrate everything.

Surprisingly statistics indicate that only 30 percent of car buyers negotiate online. Negotiations – Car buyers complain about being bullied and intimidated. If in doubt while negotiating for a car, keep in mind the following: Walk away if your first impression of a sales person is not positive.

As you become more established and learn to network well and brand yourself through social media, you'll find that headhunters and recruiters will call you in hopes of poaching you. If you say you're willing to negotiate for the right role, at least talks can continue. It comes down to an issue of timing and a numbers game.
