I would also volunteer at work and socialize with my co-workers during the holiday gift wrapping parties. I will temp and enjoy the downtime to spring clean and read for personal/intra self improvement.

When people would ask me in interviews, my first answer was, “No nepotism here!” I found every single one of my jobs through a temping agency or by referral.
