Checklists ensure that all steps or actions occur, not necessarily in a specific order (though that can be part of the process), but rather just that they are completed, while a template is an established pattern - form letters, resume designs - that you can use over and over to produce the same result.

EA work is typically admin work - phones, travels, calendars, expense reports, mtgs/luncheons, etc. So do some soul searching, thinking, and determine how much longer you can function with a 60 hour work week so you can form a game plan! It's such a great question no one has asked met yet, I'm excited to tackle it!

You answer the phone, book travel, offer beverages to guests, book meetings, prepare the conference room, order food, etc. If you are out sick, a temp will have to sub for you. Are they type A and super organized so they like lists printed out so they can carry it around or do they like information only in digital form?

3) Work with temping and recruiting agencies – all of them When you are looking for a job, contact every temp and recruiting agency in town. Send your cover letter and resume to a specific person, their general email address, or fill out their online form/application. You can’t look for the perfect job for 5 years.

This can be nothing more than a form e-mail saying "got it." I went to NYC for a job interview - traveled 4 hours from DC and the hiring manager made me wait half an hour, didn't even offer me a water or coffee. I always hear that temp work is a good way to get experience, but wonder if HR ever cares about it.
