People who spend excessive amounts of time alone tend to suffer from anxiety, stress, and even memory loss. Don’t underestimate the effect of socialization on your psyche, and the subsequent effect of your attitude and mental state on your writing. I do think that conversations via social media count. Great post.

It’s like stage stress, before walking up on a TV show or a big opening act. Just once in a while… I find I have those moments as well, and if you’re not right there with the pen or the keyboard, then you’ve lost it. Social responsibility, social media – can’t I just run my business how I used to?
