This company is so ginormous I am having a dizzy time of trying to wrap my brain around what all they do – various forms of power, civil engineering, and then the IT services side of it. For example, I set up a sales dial-in call with about 40 people from every continent on the call. I am the EA to the CEO of a global conglomerate.

Do not ignore their emails or calls when they follow up asking about status or the final outcome. And give just enough of an explanation on why they couldn’t be picked, but not so much that it would be bad form.

Tried and True Method: I set up 12 hanging file folders labelled January through to December. If there are forms that need to filled in and it has a due date in June, I put those forms in the June folder with a bf date on it for a week before it is due. Where can I put this paper? Then I put a reminder for a few days before.

When he is away, it is very quiet and sometimes I just have to get up and walk around and visit someone or it feels like I am there by myself. I can interact where I am now, but I have to get up and go if I want to speak with someone and then when I get there I may find they are busy or on the phone so I have wasted my time.
