Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check your details on the go.

I re-tweeted a post by a friend on Twitter yesterday. You know business could be better, you know that you’re lacking a skill, knowledge or even equipment that could make a real difference. For me it was paying for a wireless air card for two years when I had a wifi hotspot on my cell phone.

Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check details on the go. I use the website all the time, not just for planning travel but also for expenses, so it is helpful having the app on my phone. Tipping in restaurants around the world can be very confusing. Additionally if you have equipped your manager with all of the information they need to deal with any emergencies, they will be able to cope without you being there to help, particularly if they are in a different time zone. I was taken on a tour of the premises and they pointed out the office equipment I would need to use and introduced me to everyone we met. I basically know how to answer the phones and take messages. This particular law firm had approximately 150 people in the office. I just started at a law firm this week. I have not had much guidance.
