How do I get a recommendation letter from my boss for a new job hunt without raising suspicion or improve my situation without my boss’ help? One of the best ways to get a raise is to try to ask for more responsibility and increase your skills and talents much like you did. Happy job hunting and keep me posted!

I didn’t job hop for an increase in salary, it was always for other reasons, but with every new role I did get a pay rise. For many assistants trying to negotiate a pay rise is extremely difficult and many are turned down because of their organisation’s internal structures. Applying for jobs outside of the PA role.

Her skill set it basically calendar and coffee. So, some reasons why a previous assistant does not come with their boss are: 1) The boss moves to a new city/state and the previous assistant can’t come because they don’t want to/can’t move, the commute becomes too far, or they don’t want to work in the new office/environment.
