A: I've been extremely lucky and have NOT worked for anyone difficult or nightmarish - high standards and extremely fast-paced or high-pressure environments, yes. Compared to, say, a more corporate environment where an executive assistant's career ceiling is really only that of a more senior executive assistant?

We are no longer referred to as ‘the girl’ and we certainly do not have to balance our feminine charms with a can do attitude in a male dominated office environment. We do have to remain silent even if we know intimate details about our boss that might be brilliant gossip. We still need to maintain confidentiality.
