When I travel, I take my laptop and Kindle Fire. I let my peeps know where I am (and the time. I always synch all of my files from my main Mac computer in my home office to Dropbox so that I am sure to have all of them handy while on the road by using the app on my phone and tablet.   Keeping It Simple.

No matter if you are crossing over multiple time zones or simply want to be able to go to the park and work outside, creating your freedom is possible. Fun travel apps are Skype (for calling home), SimplyNoise (great for sleeping in noisy places), Sit or Squat (find a bathroom), and CheapGas.

I think that was also the day when I started to use my app as an excuse for not going out or as a standard answer at the phone. I can get pathological, I warned you… Frustration Level (0 – 100): 5 – That Quartz Core thing proved to be a little bit too time consuming, but in the end everything went well. Complicated.
